Wicked?!

The wicked man earns deceptive wages, but he who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

Proverbs 11:18

I'll tell you what's wicked!

People you've helped who don't help you back when you ask for slash actually need it!

Happy Easter

When do I get sick of listening to All Time Low?!

Story:

One morning I was on my usual 20-minute walk to the train station.

Of course, my iPod was with me and it put on All Time Low and this song was playing...

So smothered in love, we didn't have the chance to come up for air.

-Too Much

I was lost in thought.

It was like a music high or something.

You know, like, when you're so into what you're listening that your mind goes completely blank and all you hear is the song.

For the whole duration of the song, you can't feel anything else BUT the song. I think I even forgot to breathe.

NOT THAT THIS DOESN'T HAPPEN OFTEN because it does. It always does.

And I love it.

Have a great weekend slash Holy Week slash holiday!

Post Winter slash Pre Spring Soundtrack

Earlier today it was drizzling.

Then it was snowing.

Now it's bright and sunny.

AND AND it's Sunday slash Sabbath Day.

I, therefore, dedicate this post to Deas Vail and the One upstairs.

OMFG! Where was I when Deas Vail started making songs?!

I've only been listening to them for the past 12 hours, so I can't really tell if they're gonna make it on the Soundtrack of My Life (with Hale, Relient K, Switchfoot, and Owl City), but I got a feeling they will soon.

So far it's been a great weekend. It's one of those "I didn't do anything but I had fun" weekends.

I discovered Deas Vail.

Deas Vail in Latin is "God"; in Old French it's "humble servant". Either way, I think of it as "humble servant of God".

I painted my nails. I think they're in their best coats so far.

I baked my first cookies. First Oatmeal Cookies. It went well. They taste good too!

I found a new inspiration for my next PS Project.

I have a video of the clouds moving.

Besides that, I did some homework. I could've done more but lazy me left some stuff in school.

Oh well, that's that. It's not over yet because we're having another family fun at my aunt's house.

I hope your weekends weren't as fun as mine. LOL

He proclaimed a fast...

After this, the Moabites and Ammonites with some of the Meunites came to make war on Jehoshaphat. ... Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah. The people of Judah came together to seek help from the LORD; indeed, they came from every town in Judah to seek him.

2 Chronicles 20:1,3-4

I don't need anybody's support when I fast. God's with me all the way.

Will I ever...

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"

Hebrews 13:5-6

In terms of life, yes. I believe I have everything a person could ask for.

A loving family, tons of trusted friends, a few material things to show off, no certain abnormalities to be strongly ashamed off..

Occassional trips to paradise, normal school life, a new home with four seasons to enjoy for a whole year..

Well, content in a way that when I compare my life with the less fortunate, I can say that I'm lucky..

Though at some point, I just can't avoid wanting more..

I don't think one could ever be perfectly content in all aspects of his or her life..

BUT at least we all have those moments when we feel like we are..

To whom it may concern slash Econ Teacher,

I may not be a genius but I know competence when I see it.
Kudos to your former job at that bank, but you should've stayed there instead of coming to our school to teach Economics, especially in the IB.
You, man, are incompetent and ridiculous.

1. You never gave us a syllabus.

2. Your idea of a lesson is handing out copies of up-to-date news articles regarding the economy, which is a good thing, but what you do is have us read them for a whole period and discuss it without regard to the current lesson.

3. Your other idea of a lesson is showing us ugly graphs (which are Norwegian) that have nothing to do with what we are supposed to be learning.

4. What more is that you're discussing about the Norwegian economy. One country's economy does not represent all others, especially Norway. Just because it is ideal, does not mean that it explains all the aspects of the economy that we are supposed to be learning.

5. You tell your students to shut up (and I mean that, he really did tell them "Shut up") while you're "discussing" and continue to say that they are not smart enough to not pay attention.
(More like the other way around, buddy!)

6. You say we need to ask questions in class, in order to pull our grades up. Why bother when you are incapable of anwering them?

7. You never teach us anything from the book, yet you expect us to be experts on them already.

8. You speak at an average of a word per second, and you cannot even pronounce nor spell.

9. I agree with you that some things about the economy can be figured out with common sense; but, dude, common sense did not save the world from the recent Recession.

10. Because of your incoherent teaching and lack of English skills, you are therefore unqualified to assess our work.

Somebody stop me before I go overboard!
Nevertheless, I have never been under an educator as pathetic as you.
Go back to your fucking ledgers and stay there!

I like looking at the moon...

...because I know somewhere you're looking at the same moon.

I'm frustrated that I can't remember where I got this from.
Oh well..

The song to get stuck in your head for the weekend is...

Full Moon by The Black Ghosts

Quickie: If you do not know where this song is from, you've been living under a rock.

It's a sad song for a happy weekend but it's good roadtrip music.
Or at least I think so.

Enjoy Tonight, Tomorrow, and the Day After Tomorrow! xo

I believe.

Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

Make Yourself Proud

I can't even describe what I feel right now.

Hard work has totally paid off.
I started yesterday. 1am.
The coffee took over me.
And THIS happened.

I want to thank somebody for staying in my heart, mind, and soul. ♥
